Als führender Think Tank der Reisebranche fokussierte sich der ITB Berlin Kongress vom 8.-10. März 2022 auf Lösungen in den Bereichen Digitalisierung, Nachhaltigkeit und Resilienz. Die Sessions sind nun auf unserem YouTube-Channel zu finden.

Hochkarätige Führungskräfte und Expert:innen diskutierten über die dringenden, globalen Herausforderungen in der Reisebranche, teilten ihr einzigartiges Know-How und zeigten dabei die derzeit notwendige Orientierung und Perspektiven für die Zukunft auf.

Als Green Destination gilt das kleine Land im Herzen Europas als eines der nachhaltigsten und sichersten Länder der Welt. In den letzten Jahren haben sich Sloweniens Engagement für Nachhaltigkeit und Naturschutz sowie eine Dezentralisierung des Tourismus zur Vermeidung von Touristenströmen als wichtiger denn je erwiesen. Mit der Einführung des GREEN & SAFE-Labels, kurz nach der ersten Pandemiewelle, konnten hohe Hygienestandards hervorgehoben und bestehende nachhaltige Praktiken aufgewertet werden. Um Touristen auch nach Aufhebung der Beschränkungen weiterhin die Möglichkeit zu bieten das Land auf eine sichere und verantwortungsvolle Weise kennenzulernen, behält Slowenien die GREEN & SAFE-Standards bei und setzt in diesem Jahr weitere Schwerpunkte in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit, Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden.

In Slowenien beträgt das Verhältnis von Stadt zu Land ungefähr 50-50, weshalb Berge, Wiesen, Seen und Wälder für die meisten Menschen in nächster Nähe sind. Dieser besondere Bezug zur Natur prägt auch das außergewöhnlich breite Outdoor-Angebot Sloweniens auf kleinstem Raum. Als eines der primären Leitprodukte im Tourismus liegt auch in diesem Jahr der Fokus auf der stetigen Weiterentwicklung des Themas »Outdoor« – nachhaltige, sichere und einzigartige Erlebnisse unter Berücksichtigung unberührter Naturlandschaften sind das Ziel. Zur nachhaltigen Positionierung auf dem Markt werden unterstützend bekannte Slowenische Profisportler in die Kommunikation einbezogen, um so einen authentischen und individuellen Charakter zu wahren.

Also the historical-religious tourism, emphasized in the Franciscan Way, and the Jesuit Route where the missions of Santísima Trinidad and Jesús de Tavarangué were highlighted, declared UNESCO World Heritage, which offer tourists a unique cultural experience, with night tours and the possibility of attending live the choir of the Mby'a indigenous community in the area.
