ITB Berlin meets Berlin Travel Festival
ITB Berlin is the leading travel trade fair encompassing every aspect of the tourism industry, with a vast array of global destinations and business sectors. It’s where key decision makers, experts, buyers and job seekers from all areas of the tourism value chain come together to network, learn about new trends and do business.
Berlin Travel Festival is not a trade fair in the classic sense – it’s primarily a consumer event where food, entertainment and fashion play as large a role as for example hotels and airlines. It’s unconventional, experimental and targets a very specific consumer set and their needs.
The world’s leading travel trade show ITB makes its way to South Asia in 2020 with ITB India- the inaugural show will be a 3-day business-to-business travel trade show and convention focusing on the Indian travel market. For the first time ITB has organized the ITB India night, where visitors could find out more about the Indian travel market, exchange views and establish new contacts.
International Women’s Day
As the world’s leading travel trade show we have been advocating for more gender equality in tourism for many years. In 2019 for instance, together with the International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) India we will again be honouring the outstanding achievements of women with the Celebrating Her Awards.
