Predictive intelligence for better decisions

Spotlight uses forecasting approaches to highlight when and where marketing is likely to have the greatest impact. This allows teams to base decisions not solely on historical data, but on forward-looking signals that support campaign planning and prioritisation.

New indicator: “Potential to Influence”

A central element is the new “Potential to Influence” indicator, which, according to IDeaS, shows how strongly marketing can influence demand within a given period. This provides a metric that hotels previously could only infer indirectly from fragmented data. Combined with price elasticity insights, the indicator helps determine when activation makes sense – and when restraint may be the more strategic choice.

Analytics designed for marketers

Spotlight is powered by SAS® Analytics, which also underpin IDeaS’ revenue management system. Complex forecasting and price sensitivity data are translated into a simplified, intuitive and action-oriented format. A dashboard designed specifically for marketing teams is intended to make prioritisation easier – without the need for manual spreadsheet analysis.
