With over 200 top speakers, 17 tracks, and 400 sessions, the ITB Berlin Convention once again provided groundbreaking insights for the future of the travel industry. Key topics included digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) in travel planning, and sustainable business models.
Particular interest was drawn to the AI Track, which explored the use of artificial intelligence to enhance the customer experience, as well as discussions on the skilled labor shortage and innovative approaches to employee retention.
A key highlight was the introduction of the Corporate Culture Clash Track, which addressed the challenges of diversity, work-life balance, and new work models.
For the first time, all sessions were streamed online – the recordings are available on the ITB Berlin YouTube channel.

On ITB Berlin Tuesday, the Global Travel Buyer Index (GTBI) was introduced, a new industry indicator that provides valuable insights into the market situation and trends in the tourism purchasing sector. Dr. Fried & Partner and ITB Berlin presented the first results, which serve as an early indicator for the development of the travel market. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the surveys!
Dr. Markus Heller from Dr. Fried & Partner presented the data at ITB Berlin 2025, and you can rewatch the video on our YouTube channel
